Hallway/Bathroom Millwork - Renovations Continued

Air compressor, Nail gun, Chop saw, Jig saw, Circular saw - and careful patience
Starting with the baseboards

Oak Plywood and Oak Chair Rail and Baseboard - I got a good deal on the oak at a warehouse sale - I have enough for the kitchen too... eventually
That copper pipe sticking out of the ground - old furnace heater - started leaking gas/oil? I'm going to have to address this pretty soon... Ok, really soon.

Some of the millwork completed in the bathroom (Pine)

Complete hallway - just not sure what the finish on the wood will be... Might paint it all white or try something creative.

  1. It really looks good. Hard work owning a home ain't it? But, once done, it will be lovely. And it looks like you are enjoying the Process. that is good. As I "cannot" participate in the process a whole lot, it is TOUGH. I huddled myself in the corner of our bedroom with my sewing machines and a computer for company while the painting and the floors were being put in last year. Not really 'fond' memories then, but it is PAST...and the house looks wonderful.

Good job ...I am highly impressed...
